On 27 May Wednesday, NASA is preparing to send two of its astronauts to orbit. They will send them by a Falcon 9 rocket made by a company (SpaceX) founded by Elon Musk.

The launch is scheduled for 1:33 p.m. PT and 4:33 p.m. ET on Wednesday, May 27.

NASA will live stream the launch on its website, YouTube, and other platforms.

NYTimes.com also provides a live video stream closer to launch time, and you can join their live briefing for updates about the mission and answers to more questions.

NASA will provide live streaming of pre-launch, launch, and ISS docking activities through NASA TV. The launch timing will depend on good weather conditions both at the launch site and out in the ocean where the crew capsule would splash down in case of an emergency during launch.

Pre-launch live coverage starts at 9:15 a.m. PT on May 27 ahead of the scheduled 1:33 p.m. PT liftoff time. NASA TV will provide continuous live coverage from launch through docking. Crew Dragon's arrival at the ISS is set for 8:29 a.m. PT on Thursday, May 28. SpaceX will also provide a launch webcast.

The main events live stream will begin at 12:15 p.m. EDT (1615 GMT), when NASA will begin continuous coverage that will run through the Demo-2 mission's arrival at the International Space Station on Thursday, May 28. Docking is set for 11:39 a.m. EDT (1539 GMT) Thursday.

SpaceX Launch Today will also be available to live stream on a variety of other platforms, including Hulu, the Roku Channel, YouTube TV, Amazon's news app on Fire tablets and Fire TV devices, Sling TV, Facebook, Twitter, ABCNews.com, and the ABC News and ABC mobile apps.

Discovery and the Science Channel will be carrying live TV coverage. "SpaceX Launch Live: America Returns to Space," will be broadcast from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. PT and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. ET Wednesday, May 27, on both Discovery and the Science Channel. The program promises to take viewers "inside the launch," and will also include live appearances by singer Katy Perry, TV and Internet personality Adam Savage, former NASA engineer Mark Rober and others.

National Geographic is joining with ABC News Live for "Launch America: Mission to Space Live," two-hour live coverage that will air on the National Geographic TV channel from noon to 2 p.m. PT and from 3–5 p.m. ET on Wednesday, May 27. ABC News' Tom Llamas and Linsey Davis will anchor coverage of the lift-off as it happens at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. According to a press release, moments before launch, ABC News will go on the air with live coverage carried on the ABC network.
